Ai forecast is terrible

I have used this app for years and trusted for boating and windsurfing. Since this Ai forecast was added it is terrible. And you can't even turn it off, have to manually deselect it each time you go into the app. This is dangerous incorrectly forecast, especially when boating. Please go back to old version

What you refer to as AI forecasting is a weather model named Meteoblue. This model has been available on Windy for many years. You are not required to use it; you can switch to the model of your choice. -
I prefer working with ECMWF when working in Europe.
In the menu for forecast preferences, I switched multiple times to ECMWF, but every time I open a new location, it opens again with MeteoBlu AI.This is very confusing (and frustrating). Opening the ECMWF forecast, but when I click on a location for a sounding, it switches back to Meteoblue. When I click on a different location ... again Meteoblu ...

You simply need to specify your choice in “Settings for location forecast”, as shown here on mobile device for example:
