Discrepancy between the displayed precipitation total and the local forecast.

The precipitation totals (rainfall or snowfall) shown across an area are often significantly higher than the total calculated from the local forecast. For example: A precipitation total of 100 mm is calculated for a specific area and time period. If I click on this region and calculate the precipitation total based on the local forecast, I only get 60 mm.
This issue has existed for a long time. Am I missing something?

Sorry, in the second picture i used meteoblue AI. But when I use as model ECMWF (like in the first pic) i get the same result: no precipitation in the local forecast)

This is because the map in your second screenshot is not drawn by Meteoblue. This model is a non-gridded model, so its data can’t be used to draw a weather layer. So Meteoblue is only providing the data for the location forecast table and the map is from another model, probably from ECMWF in your screenshot.

You are right.
The rain accumulation layer shows more than 10 mm over 5 days, whereas the detailed forecast table at same location displays only 2.5mm over 15 days!

@suty It seems important to clarify this issue.
