Dark mode/theme forecast pane

The forecast pane has a white background. It does not need to. It hurts the eyes. Been requesting a dark background option for it for four years. I do not appreciate or accept the invalid response "it isn't possible because it wouldn't look good" when examples such as Dark Sky for iOS (I guess that's just Apple's Weather app now) and others have been doing it beautifully for ages.
This has always been the only thing holding me back from a premium subscription -- I can't justify it at all if a feature request as straightforward as this keeps getting dismissed out of hand. I would otherwise have been subscribed and supporting development this entire time.

I requested a black background option for the radar map. They are very funny about things like this I'm not sure why.
Black enhances the colours of other products and actually saves a phones battery verses displaying a lighter option.
