iOS radar widget no longer opens Radar on Windy app

Noticed recently that when I tap on the Windy radar widget, Windy app opens to wind, instead of radar.
Previously, tapping the radar widget has always opened the app to radar, which makes sense.
Not mad or upset haha just wanted to let Windy know.

Confirmed on my Android S23FE, Windy v51.1.2 - when I tap the radar widget, windy opens with radar layer.
@shortblondeguy what version and device do you have? Might help them narrow down a solution.

@Shortblondeguy Same issue, version and OS here. Satellite widget too (doesn’t open app to satellite layer like it normally does).

I have exactly the same problem (iOS 26). Here's the video-gif that illustrates the problem. I can add that this happens not only with radar widget, but with any widget. For example I have a widget for a specific location and tap on it opens my current position (not selected location as it was before).

Hey Windy, any update on this? This bug still persist and very annoying.

I didn't test this when I was on iOS 26, but I just looked and it is working correctly for me on IOS 27.0. My app version is 51.2.1.

@Sergey-Fetiskin Can you tell us more details? I tested our latest app on iOS 27 on my device and the radar widget normally opens the correct radar layer. What version of Windy and OS do you have installed?

@Suty I can report that mine is now working again after the latest update 51.2.1. Radar widget opens to radar and satellite widget opens to satellite.
