      Hello.
      It's really strange to say, but it's true, with meteoblue AI forecast windy became useless.
      For my location meteoblue AI gives very inaccurate forecast, I noticed that right from the date it was introduced.
      And yesterday was the last drop of patience, when it was the only forecast, which showed the rain all over the day, but others didn't.
      And yes, the rain was only at night. So meteoblue AI was wrong, as always.
      So now every time I need to go options and change the source to ECMWF.
      Why you did it default?

          @Comraddm Yep agree, I find it sometimes very inaccurate like when all the models saying 13-15knts wind and it predicting like 6knts. It is wrong often by a big factor, and even potentially dangerous to rely on it for offshore sailing, I ignore it, how can I turn it off from being default?

              @Robboa
              I have also noticed that Meteoblue most often forecasts lighter winds at sea near the coast compared to other models.
              However, since you are a Premium user, you can select a different default model.
              Click on “Settings for location fast” to select another default model and “Wind” as default table.

                  Agreed. "Meteoblue AI" is pretty bad.

                  For people like myself, we have no idea about weather forecasting models, we just open Windy and check the weather. I got absolutely drenched on my bicycle and thought it was really odd that Windy got it so wrong (it said no rain). Looking into it, I discovered the default model has changed from ECMWF (which for years has been pretty accurate), to some inaccurate "Meteoblue AI" model.

                  This is the first time I even knew what ECMWF means, as it's always just worked in the past without me even knowing what it is. Being a hiker and a cyclist all-year-round, it's pretty important it just works.

                  If Windy doesn't want to get a poor reputation for forecasting, they need to ditch that AI junk.

                    Even if Meteoblue is the default model for you, you can still switch to ECMWF if you wish.
