      Hello,

I’m a Kiteboarder that often chases the wind to an area where it’s windy for multiple days in a row to have a long weekend or period of wind. Currently I scroll through the visual forecast and see what the wind is doing at all the different spots, but this takes a bit of time and memory to pick out the best spot.

A map layer that is able to show the average wind over multiple days could quickly help guiding me in the right direction.

Another take on this layer could be nr of days / hours with wind above 15knots (or even a custom number that you can change). This is the limit where most sessions become fun. If you pick a 72 hour (3 day period) and there are 36 hours of wind above 15 knots you would see 50%. Maybe there is even the option to integrate a daylight toggle so you don’t get skunked with wind during the night.

It would also be useful to see the average wind direction for the chosen time period.

I believe a layer like this could really help out the wind chasers and weekend warriors.

The “wind accumulation” layer does something in this direction, but just seems to show the strongest wind of a specific time period.

@stevenakkersdijk Hello, unfortunately, there is no plan for this layer at the moment. We can consider this in our upcoming plans in future.
