Hey friends, I'm new here and would like to tell you about modelspread.app
I’ve always been fascinated by weather forecasting, especially comparing different numerical weather models — but I found that most weather apps hide all that information behind a single forecast.
So I built (with the help of Claude) modelspread.app.
The idea is simple: pick a location and see what different weather models are forecasting for that exact spot, side by side including temperature, precipitation, wind and other variables.
The interesting part is not just “what will the weather be?” but “how much do the models agree, and where are they disagreeing?”
When the models spread apart, that uncertainty can be just as interesting as the forecast itself.
It’s still a work in progress, but I’d love to hear what weather enthusiasts / forecasters think and what features you’d want to see added.🌦️ modelspread.app
