        @alastair Hello, our Meteoblue AI model evaluates many numerical models together with data from station observations, so this model should take this into evaluation.

          @Suty well it does not this is the third day of sunshine when windy shows rain all day. It seems to default to Metro blue Ai. I can change it manually to UKV which seems much better but next time I open it , it's back to Metroblue.
          Thanks for the quick reply

            @alastair Please use the forum's search function to learn about "Mblue AI". Or follow exactly the steps in this help post if you don't :
            https://community.windy.com/post/232992
            (Android https://community.windy.com/post/233309)

            Please make sure to select the "Basic" view as it is illustrated, that works.

            Interestingly, it has been said until now that Windy does not make weather forecasts, only displays weather models doing so. However, with the acquisition of Meteoblue, they are now actually doing that.
            Predictions may and will fail, so UKV might indeed work better in your location. In addition to the empirical observation method, there is a function for comparing the available models, both with each other and with local station observations. These will help you to select the best model for your location :

                  @alastair
                  You are probably using the forecast for a location by Meteoblue displayed rain in the Basic panel.
                  And you see the map showing a sunny weather.
                  This is because the Meteoblue model is not able to drawn a weather map. So the sunny map is from another model.
                  If you have read the @canne’s post, it provides all the information you need to choose a model other than the default Meteoblue, as well as to compare forecasts from multiple models.
