      Hello Windy Team and Community,

I would like to request the addition of a 'Composite Reflectivity / Composite Return' layer (raw and processed composite radar data) to Windy.

While the current base reflectivity overlays are fantastic for general tracking, having access to Composite Reflectivity (which displays the maximum reflectivity attribute found in any elevation scan above a given point) would be a game-changer for storm trackers and weather enthusiasts.

      Why Composite Reflectivity is needed:

      1. Deep Convection Analysis: It allows accurate tracking of convective updrafts, storm core intensity, and hail potential without being limited by single-tilt beam angles.
      2. Complete Vertical View: It gives a full-column view of precipitation echoes, making it easier to identify severe convective cells early.
      3. Enhanced Nowcasting: Combining composite reflectivity with existing wind and CAPE overlays will significantly improve real-time storm analysis.

The Windy Play Store team kindly suggested I share this request here. If other storm trackers in the community would find this feature valuable, please upvote and support!

      Thank you,
      Ephraim

Hi @Ephraim-2, we already display composite (maximum) reflectivity wherever possible.
