      I live at Paekakariki, New Zealand. Currently, the tide cycle is showing high tide when it actually low tide. The tides are correct a bit further along the coast in both directions (for example Porirua and Paraparaumu), but incorrect here in Paekakariki that sits between those two towns by just a short distance. I'm not sure if this is an interpolation issue on certain tide cycles (I have noticed it only once previously).
      Thanks
      Andrew

        Hi,
        Do you use the tide data listed in the POI as “Tide forecast” or the data shown in the "Waves&tides" table?
        These are two different sources of tide data.

          Hi @idefix37
          I am referring to POI "Waves&Tides" forecast that is out of kilter. See first image.

          The second screenshot shows the tide forecast table at a location nearby which seems correct.

            @surfandrew
            POI “Tide forecast” rely on local data, whereas "Waves&tide" uses data from WorldTides.
            WorldTides is a global service that may be less accurate in some cases, specially in enclosed bays, straits, estuaries…
