Feature Request: Add the "Reset Route" button to the Web version (like on Mobile)
-
Hi Windy Team,
I frequently use the Route Planner tool on both web and mobile. I noticed that while the mobile app already has a convenient "Reset" button to clear the current route, this feature is completely missing from the web/desktop version.
On the web version, starting a brand-new route is quite tedious as you currently have to:
Manually delete every single waypoint one by one.
Or clear browser storage (since closing and reopening Windy keeps the previous route saved).
Suggestion:
Could you please bring the same "Reset Route" / "Clear All Waypoints" button to the web/desktop interface? Having parity with the mobile app on this feature would save a lot of time for desktop users.Thank you for your continuous work on making Windy better!

Hi,
In the browser version you just need to click on “Route planner” in the menu to clear the previous WP.

@idefix37 Hi, You are right, if you click on "Route planner" in the menu, you clear the previous WP. I was going to "Route planner" from "right click", and "right click" "Route planner" doesn't clear the previous WP.
Thank you for your help.

That allows you to keep the route available even if you switch to other layers.
