As a user, it is essential the naming and naming conventions are current and correct when using the search features and sharing screen-shots in posts.
It is past time to make this simple correction/change. The proper change to "Gulf of Mexico" is internationally recognized.
Please make this simple change. It is past due. This request will be shared as a "corrective action" and request to not use the app until the correction has been made.

It is the " Gulf of America". Any other name implies an anti-American bias and political hatred of America.

@mcgilbdd Windy, and its map provider, OpenStreetMap, are not US companies. They are not obligated in any way to use the name "Gulf of America". They follow internationally accepted naming schemes.
