What does the numerical value to the left of wind speed represent?

wind direction in degrees (from were the wind comes)
360 - North, 090- East, 180 - South, 270 - West, 300 Northwest etc

suggestion: Option to switch between wind direction in degrees or symbol (N,W,E...)
