Location search

When I have search some locations, its fine. But after awhile I will delete old locations. My list is very full old locations. How can I delete the choosen locations.

How to remove favorite location?

I click on the star, then remove favorite. Unfortunatelyit didnt work. Android 5. Is there anybody to explain clearly. Thanks. Michel
