On a 'traditional' 500 mbar weather chart, the values are heights (altitude) showing isohypse lines at 500mbar. That is, the whole chart is at 500 mbar. Is this also true for the way that Windy displays the geopotential layer at 500 hPa? Is this true for other geopotential heights displayed by Windy, above surface? Is there any plan to add isohypse lines. The recent addition of isobars for surface pressure is great.
