Windy app has stopped working

I get these random pop ups on my phone. Even when the app isn't open (accept the widget).
I just close the popup. No big deal.
Possibly this is reported already. -
Android or iOS? Send screenshot of this popus. We do not do any popups.

Ok. I'll screenshot the next occurrence. It's an android popup. "Windy had stopped responding" or something similar. Even when I don't have the app opened in an active task. Just the widget on the home screen.

Example of the error that pops up on my phone couple of times a day. Usually when I'm not using the app at all.

This was a random one. The app was not running in the task list. It was not opened either. I was doing something else entirely. https://imgur.com/a/d6kfM
The only other app that runs in the background in Twilight and Gmail.

I find this happens on my Galaxy 5 with other apps as well. I simply power the phone off. Leave for about 1 minute then re-boot. This so far seems to fix 99.9% of problems.

@ivo I really love this app I have only been using it for about a month. Found ithe when searching net so I can view jet stream.
So simple to use and understand . I am autistic and new things I generally find very difficult. This app is simplicity in itself.
