Is this something that could be used to grab data for Norway?

How can tide and current be turned off and on as needed? I find it too much clutter when always on.
          Thanks.

A few more days of tide report added on please.

Something like 7 days of tide report will be better to plan ahead with waves and winds, which should still be semi reliable at that length of time. Thanks

Is there any way to upload links to the NOAA PORTS dada for tides and currents?

Mobile, Al has great coverage including:
              current meters :

              https://mobile.tidesandcurrents.noaa.gov/ports/mobile.shtml?port=mb

And observed height of tide graphed with almanac.

Here at the germany authority BSH (Bundesamt für Seeschifffahrt und Hydrographie) you will find all the stations for which one can obtain tide Tables for the german north-sea-coast:
                https://www.bsh.de/DE/DATEN/Gezeiten/gezeiten_node.html

The level of the water depends not only on the tides but also on the wind. So here also at BSH you can look for a prognosis of the water level with the parameters of tide and Wind. And this prognosis is for 24 hours, for 0-3 days and for 3-6 days. In this example for Schulau on the river Elbe, where a huge marina is located.

@WharfRat - I totally agree. Some of us are very visual, and having a graph visualization is very helpful.
I use the UK EasyTide as my reference when working in the Antarctic, and it works most times.

                  • I think the Amazon River Basin will provide unique challenges. There is an annual variation that can be bigger than 10m at Manaus, plus daily tidal variation that can be noticed all the way to Óbidos (800 nm from ocean). Then the rivers on the North bank have their flood in Spring, while rivers from South Bank have theirs in Fall. There are tide gauges in all main cities.

Love the graphic representation at each tide station and the pop up window details. Well done, thank you,

I love all your data. You save me a lot of time and carbon emissions searching for waves. I wish the tide forecast was a little easier to read for projections. When I move forward in the week, it doesn't seem to change the tides. When I open the side bar, I can see projections, but just for a day or two. Is it possible to have tide projections further out? Can you add the date to the projections in the side bar? Mahalo.

The tide forecast stopped working today for some reason. All the tide and current stations now show up as tiny yellow dots with no way of clicking on them. Am I the only one experiencing this?

@akovia I'm having exact same issue now. Were you able to find a fix for it?

I have the same issue, the tide icons have shrunk with the latest build and can no longer click on them.

Tide numbers are cool, but would be better to have the option of a graph. Maybe when you turn the device to landscape the graph pos up.

Good but the most important bit of information I need is height of tide now at my selected location. For the UK I need to see Secondary Ports as well as Primary Ports. All data available from UKHG via a API along with tide gauge readings.

@SARABoats I find this information very useful. I check it before deciding to swim in my local salt water rock pool. High tide at this pool brings the breakers into the pool which is less pleasant than when the tide is lower.
Useful also for boating and fishing.
I live on the East coast of Australia.

Hi, I was wondering if this data is available through the paid API.
I have been searching for a single data provider with multiple area/continents; however I have not found any except fleetmon.com

I do understand that it is difficult due to the protection laws of each data provider, so please do not hesitate to say no.

@idefix37 - No need to get rid of Feet. Each user can skip what they don't use.

                                            Of course!
I’ve never asked to get rid of feet !! It was a proposal of @timber2. I underlined the fact that there are probably people who use this unit for tide prediction.
