The new version is much easier to use than the old one , far more user friendly. The only thing I would like to see is the wind speed in MPH rather than Knots, Just because I am lazy and it would save me doing the conversion. From a 67 year old techno dinosaur.

@grumpy-al Happy to see you like the new version. You can change the units quite easily. Just click on the "color bar" in the bottom right corner of your screen:

Or if you are using mobile, tap on the tree dots in the yellow circle (bottom right), a menu will slide from right and you'll immediately see unit settings.

Windy one great app. I use it to do lots of planning when I plan flights in combination with other aircraft software.

Sorry but I do not like your change. In my part of Europe, wine is measured in kilometers per hour. It is now changed to knob. This makes it impossible and relate to.

@mortenw Hi! Well, in our part of Europe wine is measured in litres. Nevertheless, if you want to change the displayed unit, click on the map legend. Or when you open forecast detail (6 day forecast), you can change the unit just by clicking on its name.

I don't like to see so many changes in short time, Every time I get used to the site or to the app, new changes appear, it's annoying.

How nobody thought of the following changes:

Please put animations speed control on Freezing Altitute, Temperatures, Rain/Snow, and for almost every other choice - give us the possibility to speed up the animation or to slow it down (after clicking Play/Plause).

Also, it will be a good idea to make, when progressing thrgouht days and hours, animations to be softer, and not so sudden (jumping from 9:00 to 12:00 for exemple) but more blurry-like.

I've notice a change in the richness of the colors; the controls are more responsive (no lag); some controls I didn't understand (working on it); overall it's the most exact meteorological app that I have to date; I also have the NOAA and Weatherbug app. I've also noticed that some TV weather stations are starting to copy your graphics. Thanks for a very precise app. In weather, precision is everything.

my only problem with it is the layers I have saved as my favorites... I have many that are turned on, and I don't like having to click "view more" to see all of them. I would like the screen to display all of my favorite layers.

Why are layers missing from the map ?
                                          This is from widgets:
                                          0_1514033940003_2017-12-23_07-28-25.png

                                          and the map:
                                          0_1514033921935_opera_2017-12-23_07-26-52.png

where is the snow accumulation layer ?
