You could add many German weather stations for free.. Offered by DWD
      ftp://ftp-cdc.dwd.de/pub/CDC/observations_germany/
      ftp://ftp-cdc.dwd.de/pub/CDC/Readme_intro_CDC_ftp.txt

          A Cyclone/Hurricane/Typhoon Forecast Track
Once a Tropical Storm is "detected" (not sure with the term), there will be a forecast track for this storm with details about the max. wind speeds, gusts, and storm category.
I use this website for forecast tracks and other information (like chances of an area experiencing TS force winds, chances of landfall, etc.)

@ivo I do not know much about this service, besides what is on their page, I found while searching seismic maps and cyclones, and I came across it.

there looks that they have a paid API for others software, maybe windy can incorporate some info for free, but I don't know.

I have other feature to suggest, support for different map projections, Windy use Mercator projection, but there exist others more useful for studies and etc...

                  some info.
                  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Map_projection
                  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_map_projections

this site is a tool for see distortions on the Mercator projection.

This would be most helpful (Philippines) as to give an advance warning and probably save lives and give the agency a time in advance remotely

                            We would like:
                            1) Sea currents layer to work on the API
                            2) Forecast/Meteogram to work on the API
                            3) Mass import/export of favorites to be enabled
                            4) Historical data to become available again.

First of all: Great work so far!

I would like to see some layers containing pseudopotential o equivalent potential temperature.
Thanks in advance and keep up the good work!

I would like to have to FREEZING ALTITUDE above SEA LEVEL. On Windy freezing altitude is proposed above the ground. This is not very useful in mountain to have a rough idea of the limit rain/snow. And if possible this freezing altitude in meters.

                                      @developers

Till then ... (the way I use)

Choose a location with the picker
                                      forecast for the location
                                      then "airgram".
The white line shows the height of zero isotherm.
I think is easy for developers to add height (in meters and FL)
in the vertical axis of the upper (temperature) part of airgram
the same way as they did for the lower (clouds, rain) part.

                                        Many thank ! It’s a nice idea.
I suppose that the way how the freezing altitude (in feet) is shown on Windy is specially for pilots.
As aviation meteorolist, you can probably explain if it’s better for pilots to know the freezing level above the ground rather than the freezing altitude above the sea level (MSL). For planes, is the altitude or the flight level considered above the ground, and not above the sea?

Usually is that above the sea level but they use (at least) 2 altitudes!
When an aircraft is on the ground, the pilot adjust the altimeter (by inserting the pressure given by Air Traffic Control) to show the true altitude above MSL.
After take-off, in a certain height named transition level, all pilots set in the altimeter the standard value of 1013 hPa (29.92 inches Hg) in order to standardize the indicated altitudes.

Flight Levels are considered above the sea
assuming the sea level pressure is 1013 hPa
and are used to ensure safe vertical separation between aircrafts,
despite natural local variations in atmospheric air pressure.
