Is there a way to adjust the speed of the animation? While a quick glance is good i like to be able to take in what is happening when. Im finding by the time i have resized a screen now im on the wring day.

You can always use left and right arrow buttons (on a desktop), to move the forecast yourself, if You don't like the speed of the animation.

Maybe a "turtle, rabbit, goat" option ? (for next version, like in wx radar mode)

I'll have you know I spent no less than 2 hours of my day trying to figure out why a goat was being used for "fast" and a rabbit for "normal" and now I've found my answer. Have you seen a goat run? I swear rabbits, especially hares (which is what is used for the icon), could hop circles around even the Usain Bolt of goats. But then I started doubting my basic animal knowledge and had to spend another two hours reading about the speed and agility of rabbits and goats. According to this random person on yahoo (https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20090528194003AANG1Q9) goats have a top speed of 15 mph. Even the slowest rabbit can run at least 25 mph and hares can run almost 40 mph. I demand the goat and hare icons be switched or you use a cheetah instead of a goat. The Leporid family will not have this kind of disrespect and I can't use this site in good conscience until this heinous crime is rectified. Also I think rabbits and hares everywhere deserve a written apology. Rabbits are the true GOAT (Greatest of all time), goats are just lame.

I support this request, please implement this feature. It would be nice to be able to slow down or up the animation bar!!

usually the animation speed is controlled by (+) and (-) buttons.
                  But ... I prefer this "turtlle-rabbit-goat".
Windy's developers approach the subject with a sense of humor
                  ... and I like it!

@goatsrslow - Since the icons are still being used, perhaps consider the goat to be a gazelle. Maybe that's what it is!

It would be wonderful to settle the speed of animation for premium account :)
