Android app widget problem

Some days ago I changed the forecast model from ICON to ECMWF in my Windy Android app since it seems more accurate for my area. Although I can see the difference (in weather tabs) when I open the Windy app the widget's forecast doesn't seem to follow this change. It's still showing the weather forecast from ICON. Is there a default setting about this? I also tried to delete the widget and bring one new but without any luck.
