    How do Windy measure wave height?

      Hi!
      Is the wave height measured from still-water line to the highest point(crest), or is it measured by the vertical distance between the lowest point(trough) and the highest point(crest)?

        Wave height is measured from a crest to the neighbouring trough.
        Forecast data you find here are the "Significant Wave Height"
