      Re: Propose a NEW LAYER / FEATURE You'd like on Windy

      Hi Windy,

      Love your App! Is there any way you could write a script that allows a user to import a shapefile? (.kml/.kmz)

      Cheers,
      Simon

              Hey guys (@Simon-Tunney @camaer @wxgeek @meteoman ). Yes, we are working on it. But it will take us some time (probably a few weeks). Thank you for your patience.

                @Simon-Tunney

                Cool.

                While @marekd is working on it, maybe you can use this:

                windy.com/plugins
                windy-plugin-kmz

                (Quick plugin, only works partially and only for some kmzs).

                    @Simon-Tunney did something happen with this plug-in? I don't see it on the plug-in website list of plugins and oddly on windy.com app on a totally different tablet which I installed maybe a few months ago it has the option to import KML.

                      @ccrepon88

                      my plugin still exists:

                      Plugins: Load plugin directlly from npm then type windy-plugin-kmz.

                      However, my plugin was quick and dirty,
                      rather use windy.com/uploader
