      Usando una paleta de colores para cada nivel se aprovecharía enormemente la resolución espacial de estos modelos.
      Soy pronosticador y utilizo la variable Temperatura en el nivel 500mb para determinar cambios de masa de aire y zonas inestables (aire frío en estos niveles generalmente implica inestabilidad). Con un rango de -40 a 0ºC en vez de la que actualmente tiene de -20 a 40ºC se verían más claramente los núcleos o ejes fríos.

      Lo mismo podría hacerse con otras variables

        Using a color palette for each level would take enormous advantage of the spatial resolution of these models.
        I am a forecaster and I use the Temperature variable at the 500mb level to determine changes in air mass and unstable areas (cold air at these levels generally implies instability). With a range of -40 to 0ºC instead of the one that currently has -20 to 40ºC, cold cores or axes would be seen more clearly.

        The same could be done with other variables

          I agree!
          It's easy to modify the temperature colour palette from "settings", "modify layers colours".
          You can add new lines at -20, -30, -45 ....
