@darkdart Hi, there is a layer for "Dust mass" here: https://www.windy.com/overlays?dustsm,49.210,14.502,3,m:e2yagzn

Not sure what you mean by "dirt" but you can also find layers for "CO concentration" and "SO2 mass".

      Best wishes
      ~ Marie

Es, con diferencia, la mejor app de este tipo de todas las que conozco. Soy marinero, y estoy encantado por la precisión de la app. Muchas gracias

Very good tool and excellent upgrade! As a meteorologist, I suggest you add an important variable: 1000 - 500 hPa thickness layer to identify different air mass.

Don’t you think that adding Geopotential Heights as layers (at different adjustable altitudes including 500hPa) should be a way to identify different air mass.
Geopotential Heights are already available as isolines, but not as layers.

@idefix37 The layer 1000 / 500 is so important because is in direct function with the temperature of the layer. You could use other layers, but 1000 / 500 hPa is the most used. Geopotential charts are absolute topography chart, they are pressure lines and you can calculate geostrophic wind. But Thickness chart is a relative chart and, in this case, the layer is a representation of the air density (temperature). Layers lesser than 540 dgp are in a relationship with polar air. Layers beyond 570 dgp are in relationship with tropical or subtropical air.

If you zoom in many times, you can see elevation isolines.
Also, click on a location, press the orange arrow (forecast for this location) and
on the pop up meteogram (table) scroll to the right.
You'll find: sunrise. sunset and altitude for the selected location.

The map that is used by windy (OpenStreetMap) does not include sea depths.

Thanks for your answer. You are probably right, I’m not a meteo-specialist. Sure, 1000-500hPa Thickness is more in relation with air temperature than 500hPa Height itself.
