      Hi

We would love to enhance Windy with data from Blitzortung.org, which mean, that we have to become contributor. But since we are from Prague, where concentration of base stations is dense, we have failed to get our own base station, and become data contributor.

Is there any of their contributor would be willing to sell us his/her base station?

I believe that we would be able to offer quite unusual insight on Lightning data.

If you like our idea on Lignortnung data on Windy please support us in this thread: https://forum.blitzortung.org/showthread.php?tid=2511

Accurate , but .... "This map shows the WWLLN streaming stroke locations with a 30-minute delay in the data."
In 30 minutes a thunderstorm have gone!

the biggest advantage of Blitzortung is that the delay is around few seconds (usually 3-10s). In my opinion, the coverage is really good as it's community project. The accuracy is increased in places with higher density - central Europe has great accuracy. see the accuracy and coverage map here -www.lightningmaps.org/extra/coverage?lang=en

              Ivo,
I have read your threads on Blitz. Hopefully you can contact the powers behind Blitzortung. You have to be patient in getting a station. I do commend you on your windy site. Great visualization. I also use one of your compatriots' template for my Wx site. Meteotemplate (Jachym). You guys rock.

                    Thanks !
Last night we had strong thunderstorms in west of France. The new Radar & Lightnings layer was really fantastic !

We would like to get in touch with people behind Blitzortung project. We are offering to help to propagate their product and to increase reciever coverage in some areas (Africa)

So far they do not respond to our messages. Anyone know them?

                      Ivo
