How accurate this windy.com is ?

I'm from Iceland and we use our local weather forecast, however sometimes is a bit off and not in real time like this page, I'm a Driver guide so it's always very important to get almost 99% accuracy otherwise I could get in big trouble driving outside Reykjavik , it will be cool to have wind gust added

@karlosgm Windy strives to be as accurate as possible. There are several different weather models available on Windy. The ECMWF is probably the most accurate. ICON EU is a new model introduced here a couple of months ago and can forecast most of Iceland. It is also very accurate. The GFS model is another good model but doesn't work too well in my part of the world. You might have a better experience with it in Iceland. Everybody has a different experience when using windy. So give different models a try and get used to the site to get the best results.
And wind gusts are already a feature on windy. Try clicking on the more layers button on the right layer menu, there should be a selection of many different layers where wind gusts should be near the top.

Most accurate app I ever had. I came to Windy for to see when it rains in my country, since then it never rained when I came out outside. Thumbs up

Windy does not create any forecast data but instead only visualises forecast and actual data received from various third party providers.
So the question of accuracy is not for Windy but for the data providers. You can check information about the data source here:
