Tell me, are projects windy and windfinder related to each other?
windfinder uses similar encoded tiles like windy.
      windy:

      windfinder:
      0_1519630476424_windfinder_wind_0_0_0.jpg

      1. Projects are created by the same developers?
      2. Windfinder stole technology from windy?
      3. Or is this encoded technology open in the source?

@pautinka We have invented this years ago and they simply stole our proprietary source codes. Well that is life.

@pautinka Lookig at tiles they seem to steal our data (which we pay for) too. but I cant confirm this.

They are similar, but they are different, it's seen
I used different sources when I took the tile. But they were at one point in time. Therefore probably they are similar.
            windy - ECM
            windfinder - GFS

              As they say here: https://www.windfinder.com/about

              "Models and weather data sources
Windfinder offers two forecast models. The first is the normal forecast that is based on the GFS model ....
The second is the Superforecast, which is based on improved physical and topographical models and uses a significantly higher horizontal resolution. .....
All Superforecast values are available in hourly intervals."

I believe by "superforecast" they mean ICON !!!

Windfinder offers GFS forecast (and WRF if you pay extra)
Windy offers ECM and GFS forecasts.
So what is the reason to look at Windy and Windfinder too?

If I'm right, the superforecast of Windfinder is WRF which offers a better resolution compare to GFS.
