You must do the change on the website Windy.com. That will modify accordingly the units on your phone.
On website click on unit shown on colour scale e.g. click on « m » to change it to « ft »

Under JS enter this:
W.overlays.wind.setMetric('m/s')
to preselect meters per second as wind unit.
These are the options to choose from:
['kt', 'bft', 'm/s', 'km/h', 'mph']
