      Hello,

Could someone tell me how strong was the wind at the Ligurian See at 30.04. between 9:00 pm to 01.05.2018 8:00 am? We was on a trip with a sailboat from Genova (Italy) to Bastia (Corse) and it was horrible. Sometimes the wind gauge has shown 0,00 and before 30 m/s and I'd like to know how strang was the storm realy.

It isn't easy to find historical weather datas. How could help me?

Thanks a lot for your help.

      Best regards
      Schemus

What about taking a look at windy's forecast before sailing?

The gradient between the High Pressure on near Atlantic and the Low on the gulf of Genoa will give, as usual, strong local winds, Tramontane on gulf of Lion and Mistral on Provence. Very gusty conditions with strong squalls specially if you forecast thunderstorm in addition.
