@TomSlavkovsky same here. It looks like it is interpreted as written โ€žat least 0mm of rainโ€œ
This doesnโ€™t make sense to me.
I often get alerts where Wind would be perfect for flying but it is raining all day long.
For Paragliders a Combination of no rain and wind would be great for an alert.

I think you need an alert for "up to 0mm of rain" instead of "at least 0mm of rain".

          @Gkikas-LGPZ You're right but I guess they don't have it yet https://community.windy.com/topic/5644/maximum-precipitation-in-alerts

@TomSlavkovsky Is there any news on this at all Tom? Much like the rest of the community, and for obvious reasons I would like to be alerted when there is NO rain, rather than when there is an x amount of rain as a minimum... :)

              Any news on this?
The "no rain" criteria would be quite helpfull. I'd assume most people who use this app are checking aviation weather.

@samik83 Hello, there are no news yet, but it is definitely on our to-do list for a right timing.

@Korina - The settings for Alert are really ''not enough''. It is nice to know it is in your to-do list, but we understand the adequate interface for Alert construction is not an easy design job to do and it will almost certainly look either too complicated or too limiting. Somebody wants ''at least'', other want ''no more than''. Somebody wants ''AND'', other want ''OR''...
                    I have a suggestion:
Why don't you guys publish the RULES, which people could use directly in their URLs to construct their Alerts the way they need? Or just give an additional text control where capable people could write something SQL-like.
Like me - I'd prefer minimum rain rather than ''no rain''. And also, since the forecast is changing with the time, it would be great to have the alert time configurable.
                    Thanks!

@michroz Hello, thank you for your feedback. Such option would be indeed complicated.
Once we collect more feedbacks from users, we will think about the best design possible.

Ok. Here is some more user feedback. ๐Ÿ˜Š
For most outdoor activities/sports where wind or weather in general is important (that's why you have the alert function, right?), it makes more sense to have a no rain or max rain alert.

My wild guess would be it's just a very small minority of people who would activate an alert and say "ok, i'll just go out hiking/kiting/flying/sailing/fishing when it rains at least 5mm for three hours." ๐Ÿค”

Might be different though for farmers and the like.

I'm also missing the "no rain" option for alerts.

Indeed, it's for doing outdoor activities: such and such wind, and NO rain...

Would be VERY useful to have.

                          Regards,
                          Sebastiaan

I would like to throw my vote in for this feature too.

I would rather say alert me when no or little rain is due, not the other way :)

                                Reviving from the dead ...
after a year this is still not implemented.

You wanted to collect user input and the come up with something.
Your alerts are useless for all the pilots and people who rely on dry surfaces.

The only thing the "at least" function you have is worth something is as farmer or if you want to ride powder.

Please, finally implement a "no rain for X" or a "at max" feature for rain alerts!

@wolfpilot Hello, this has not been our priority so far, we have been working on more important tasks.

No Rain would also be a great option for me. A poor work around has been to not select the fully cloudy under maximum clouds option in the temperature, weather alert but to select the other 3 options. Not perfect but works most of the time.
