@michroz Hello, thank you for your feedback. Such option would be indeed complicated.
Once we collect more feedbacks from users, we will think about the best design possible.

Ok. Here is some more user feedback. 😊
For most outdoor activities/sports where wind or weather in general is important (that's why you have the alert function, right?), it makes more sense to have a no rain or max rain alert.

My wild guess would be it's just a very small minority of people who would activate an alert and say "ok, i'll just go out hiking/kiting/flying/sailing/fishing when it rains at least 5mm for three hours." šŸ¤”

Might be different though for farmers and the like.

I'm also missing the "no rain" option for alerts.

Indeed, it's for doing outdoor activities: such and such wind, and NO rain...

Would be VERY useful to have.

          Regards,
          Sebastiaan

I would like to throw my vote in for this feature too.

I would rather say alert me when no or little rain is due, not the other way :)

                Reviving from the dead ...
after a year this is still not implemented.

You wanted to collect user input and the come up with something.
Your alerts are useless for all the pilots and people who rely on dry surfaces.

The only thing the "at least" function you have is worth something is as farmer or if you want to ride powder.

Please, finally implement a "no rain for X" or a "at max" feature for rain alerts!

@wolfpilot Hello, this has not been our priority so far, we have been working on more important tasks.

No Rain would also be a great option for me. A poor work around has been to not select the fully cloudy under maximum clouds option in the temperature, weather alert but to select the other 3 options. Not perfect but works most of the time.

I would like to reply to say this is still a very important feature that is helpful for pilots

Same question. As a new premium user. I need a "maximum rain" option. The actual "at least" is useless for mayority of users, excepts farmers

@halig We are still planning to release a new update of alerts, it should be available in the first quarter of the year, hopefully.

@Ondřej-Å utera great to hear! I can’t begin to tell you how useful this request (when implemented) will be to us flying folk! šŸŖ‚

                              That's good news!

I know it's probably out of scope, but it would be super helpful if that update of alerts was able to include filters on wind direction, minimum cloud ceiling, and visibility. Those would be really useful features for flying alongside the ability to filter on the "maximum rain".

                                @Suty Excelent!
I hope that there will be possible to set multiple alerts for one place, each with different conditions, for example:

                                • alert if temperature is below 0C
                                • if it's above/equal 30C
                                • if there is heavy rain
                                • if snows
                                • if wind blows
                                • etc....

Another vote for ā€œno rainā€ on alerts
Pretty useless as it is for outdoor sports.

6 years and you still didn't add this feature? There's no excuse.

I don't want an alert to go kitesurfing if it's gonna rain, or worse, there will be a thunderstorm.
You already have alerts in place, you already have the "at least" threshold for rain. How hard can it be to add an "at most" option?

I won't renew my subscription if this isn't implemented.

+1 for an [at least] / [at most] dropdown to be added to the alert system GUI... it need not be more complicated than that for my use case (paragliding)

surely now is an ideal time for this to be implemented given the migration to a new alerts notification system?
