Yeah, it's really beautiful! It's a shame that there is no official, free, comprehensive radar composite by the EU (at least for all the countries that offer free radar data). You are doing amazing work! 👍

What a great update!
In my opinion there is only one suggestion for improvements:
The radar data is too much smoothened. Even when you switch off the smoothing, maximums are killed.
You need to see the highest intensity, but this is only possible when you zoom in. This way convective precipitation won't be underestimated so much.

For Italy, I found this list of differente radar sites (EU, Swiss, Italian), but I have no idea how to access the data http://www.astrogeo.va.it/radar/radar.php one of these is the Government page http://www.protezionecivile.gov.it/jcms/it/mappa_radar.wp
For Northern Italy we have also this http://www.centrometeolombardo.com/radar/ but again no idea on how to access source

There is no pop-up in my Firefox-Browser (setting for pop-up is on)...

Weather radars show rain/snow in the near past. The wind overlay is forecasted wind ... in the futur. So difficult to mix them.
At least you can select Reported wind and Radar, you will have both rain and wind, but not sure at the same time. -

European radar now available on iPad...Great !
Would it be possible to show a scale of rainfall estimated rate in mm/h ?
As it is currently done:
