Great radar.... though I am really missing the option to have the 'ghost' radar overlay of the last frame like you's used to have.

I like the layers & the play option that gives futures of predictions for weather to come

I have been involved in weather and planning in my 911 dispatch center for 11 years, so I am familiar with how radar and forecasting works. I meant to add the next hour or twos forecast model onto the end of the loop of the radar instead of having to go to another layer. Having an option to view it together would be great. Not a couple days forecast, just current conditions. I obviously was not clear in that in my one little sentence and should have expanded on what I meant. I appreciate your comments though, seriously.
We constantly monitor great weather sites, Windy being one of the main ones, to be able to better allocate resources ahead of time, and plan during active incidents. That way we aren't having to contact the local NWS weather desk each time an incident breaks out to get up to date information and only do that for larger, more serious incidents.

Very good, I like this feature. Hope to expand to mainland China.

Radar data? See only a radar picture there.. This doesn't help.

                            God job.
If the data were enriched by minute scans, it would be perfect. :)

Well, you are right, but I was thinking of a free radar composite, which can directly be used for windy. I edited my comment and included "free".

In fact the German weather service / Deutscher Wetterdienst (DWD) offers exactly this as open data (called "radar shift trend" internally): Together with the radar data for past hours, it includes a numerical prediction for the next two hours in 5 minutes steps on a 1km x 1km grid based on the past radar data. It would be great if windy could include this ultra-short-term prediction based on radar data, too!

@chstdu would love this too, but problem is that dwd this offers for Germany only (of course, it's the German weather service), but windy wants to be a world wide service. So I think as long no more data for Europe or other parts of the world are available, they will not implement this

Yeah, you are totally right. Ideally, it should be done by all the weather services. Now I wrote to DWD and asked whether the numerical prediction models for radar shift trends themselves are also freely available. Maybe we, windy, or some university can compute the trends for other countries by ourselves then.

Remarquablement précis. Contrôlé sur route au cours d'un trajet. Controlé sur place ensuite en Bretagne ! BRAVO

You have to feature a "disable autoplay" option, a checkbox
