Not a fan, would be nicer if we can remove the thunderstorm symbol. Seems strange that all the blue on the map shows thunderstorm... more miss leading then actual from what I've been seeing.

I am a forecaster in Dubai, and a huge thumbs up to windy.com, not just for the thunderstorm algorithm, which we will assess over time, but for making ecmwf data available to the public, it is certainly one of the models that I now use operationally in my decision making. 9-km grid global scale model, outrageous.. Huge kudo's!!

If it is a layer then have it as an option as a layer. When looking at the models it is more important to look at the intensity than the symbols overlapping the intensity. You are mixing apples and oranges here and any meteorologist will tell you that.

Using a weather map that mixes symbols like wind direction / speed with sea level pressure is not a problem for me, but I am not a professional meteorologist.
Similarly many maps that mix sea level pressure and geopotential heights + temperatures at 500hPa .... or 500hPa geopotential heights and temperature at 850hPa, .... are produced by national meteorological services. Mixing different parameters on the same map does not seem to be a problem for everyone. I do not know if they are oranges and apples

Považuji tuto předpověď za nejlepší vůbec. Je přesná a velmi dobře vypočítává i model s okamžitým vývojem a změnami. Mohu se spolehnout. Vynikající práce. Díky moc!!

If you activate the pressure field, you'll see Highs and Lows.
