<![CDATA[Go Czechia]]>Hi, my I ask why are you still using the long and unconfortable name of Czechia "the Czech Republic"? Especially for maps it's 100% better to use short geografical names, as Czechia (as you use in Slovakia, Austria, Poland, Germany... etc). Maybe it's time to change it? ;)

Many countries have "multiple" names.
Long form and short form (Peoples Republic of China - China, The Netherlands - Holland etc).
My country is "Hellas" but everyone (non Greek) calls it "Greece".
"Bundesrepublik Deutschland" is usually called "Germany"

Here in Greece we always called your country Τσεχία (Tsechia).

I think that after a few years Czechia will win the name debate.

Czechia is made-up word, with no history of long-term usage, pushed by the Czech government without any consensus or public discussion on the topic. Thus most of Czechs prefer the right and official name "the Czech Republic" instead of artificial "Czechia" term. In my opinion, the term "Czechia" is disgusting and there should have been at least discussion on high/expert level among scholars before sending letters to UN to introduce country's short name.
