Smoke

Out west we now have smoke every year thanks to climate change and wildfires; would you consider adding a smoke layer to the layers? Thank you.

@emr Windy currently offers a carbon dioxide layer so you can see the emissions from forest fires. The layer is called CO Concentration.

CO concentration layer is monoxide carbon concentration, not dioxide.

The NASA offer « CO concentration » data that Windy already use, it seems that « Fire » is also available.
However it must be pointed out that the long time lapse of these data update and their low resolution does NOT allow to consider these layers as an alert mean.

@theradarguy A particulate layer would be a good idea. The dispersion pattern of smoke may be very different tha CO or CO2. And likely has different health implications for sensitive populations
