      Typhoon Soulik may hit Japan Southern Islands on next Tuesday, and Korea on Wednesday. Sustained winds (1min. avg.) are forecasted by JTWC at 100kt (185km/h) with Gusts at 125kt (230km/h). GFS track is straight to southern coast of South Korea, while ECMWF track is more west, along western coast up to North Korea. Here below wind gust field today:

          The track foreseen by GFS has now joined that of ECMWF
