        @gkikas-lgpz
        A Medicane has been observed too last week off the east coast of Sardinia. It was perfectly located by Windy (I have not taken screenshot of the phenomenon).
        http://www.severe-weather.eu/mcd/a-medicane-expected-to-form-east-of-sardinia-within-the-next-24-hours/
        Then it has moved southward and hit Tunisia causing deadly flooding.
        https://www.france24.com/en/20180924-tunisia-weather-cap-bon-record-rains-set-off-deadly-flash-floods-nabeul

        It seems that the expected Medicane near Greece could threaten Greek Islands.
        Stay safe !

              ... a different track forecasted by ICON model
              (the depression is not "looping" over Ionian Sea as forecasted by ECMWF)

              P.S. after 5 days we'll know which model forecasted better that situation!

                The last run of ECMWF is now close to the ICON track. The Medicane could threaten directly Peloponnese.
