Another side-by-side animations - one from windy.com, the other from NOAA - on some Hawaii weather site https://www.staradvertiser.com/hawaii-weather/.
As one can see on screenshot, even if windy itself is free of adds, other media use windy maps on their own full of adds web pages...

I have seen windy a good bit on local news in the US. In particular during Hurricane season.
-
Yet another weather web site ("Friendly Forecast", they say), full of ads, where almost all weather maps are picked from windy.com: https://www.friendlyforecast.com/AU/New-South-Wales/Kempsey/Moparrabah/Marine/.
Should they maybe pay a fee to Windy.com? :o))) -

Yes, and Windy is also appearing on multiple YouTube channels that are covering the Route du Rhum too.
I also noticed Windy on various YouTube channels.

I rarely watch TV, but I often see Windy on YouTube.

The uniqueness of Windy lies in the fact that it provides you with higher quality information than the pro features of the other weather apps, while the product is completely free and even without ads.
