Which model should Windy implement next? Please vote.

Arome please. Since this model solves convection much better than others (not only for the high resolution) , It works really well to ferecast thermal seabreezes in my area, goood for kiting and surfing..
By the way, wave forecast could be really improved if different colormap is aplied, arrows would also improve the visualization. This is only my hymble opinion, but better wave maps is the thing I miss more from windy.
Your work is really appreciated WINDY team,
All the best!!!

Vote number 2: AROME

@ivo Yes AROME is open data as far as I know and the resolution is awesome. ARPEGE as well. The "bad" thing with Arpege is that the resolution depends on the region due ta a very specific computation method. It is about 7.5km in Europe but 37km in New Zealand for exemple:
This is an exemple of the wind accumulation from the AROME model just before hurricane Maria hit Dominica last year (wind in Km/h):

I vote #1 for Scandinavia. Norway's very long and jagged coast pierced all along with long fjords surrounded by complex mounains, makes it some of the most difficult areas in the world to forecast. This is also why Norwegian meterological institute is one of the most regarded forecasters. Check out www.yr.no
Which models they use I don't know, but better forecasting of Scandinavia and especially Western parts is highly needed -

You can modify by yourself the color palet of the wave map.
On the website, select Settings > Modify layers colors > Waves
You may change the colors and the steps of the wave heights range. -
HIRLAM Vote for number one ..
