Thunderstorms

Good day, I would like to know what does the unit I/km2 mean when thunderstorms are displayed and what indictations it gives about the severity of the thunderstorm. As an airline pilot this thing is important to me. Thank you for the help.

Thunderstorms: Defined as a number of lighting flashes in the area of one square kilometer, in one day.

rather than arithmetic values. -
@gkikas-lgpz thank you do much!

With the colors on lightnings layer ...

... and the rain/thunderstorm layer

e.g. eastern part of Wisconsin next Friday.
