Looking for a weather radar replacement for weather underground

My company is interested in using windy to replace some weather radar imagery we use in our dashboard presentation software. I think the windy paid licence maybe what we are looking for in a replacement for weather underground imagery.
The overlay we would really want to use is "radar" and we would like it if we could programmatically hit the play button so we could see the radar data animate.

Does this seem like the best path to go down?
