OK I have updated and got the 17.xx version, with the option « Donate »

I have seen that a few days ago on the phone app. But since that it has disappeared. And I don’t remember seeing an announcement about it.

On the main page you could choose the "Layers" menu, than tap the first option "Donate". At that page you can choose an amount that you want to donate, either monthly or one time donation.
