@Akira-Kimura We are sorry. Fastspring (payment provider) sends us an event when new payment occures. We catch this event and change user status. But unfortunately, some kind of payments (we know about Paypal and Amazon) does not fire this event. We have already reported this issue to Fastspring. Thank you for your understanding.

I am not sure I understand you now. Donation is just a donation to keep us going. We are grateful for all who contributed, thank you all. But the link you posted simply does not exist.

OK. I did not understand well "the donation". Concerning the user manual, the link page, which was posted in a Community, say "Windy need your help. Please donate to keep us going Access Denied You seem to have stumbled upon a page that you do not have access to"

I think that asking for donations is not the very best way of collecting money. I suggest you start selling well designed gadgets, T-shirts, etc. I will be the first buyer. Nice work anyway!

I donated using Paypal. The Paypal account shows a payment to Fastspring. You should have Fastspring put "windy.com" in the payment information shown in Paypal.

ich möchte dir für Eure hervorragende Arbeit mein Hochachtung zollen und möchte auch Spenden, aber da die WEB-Seite ewig gestört ist, möchte ich gerne wissen wie das denn nun erfolgen kann. I downloaded the app to see if it would fit my needs, it did not so i deleted it, I have now been charged and monies taken from my PayPal account, I want it refunded.

@KeithPrice Windy is free, and only voluntary donations from the user are possible. Did you set up a voluntary donation?
If not, did you maybe download a different app (with a blue logo) which is paid?

You should make a Pro version of the App for the users who like to donate monthly.
Anyway, I'll donate monthly like I have to pay for other weather apps. But I would like to get a widget for 7 days weather forecast with the temperatures (min/max), weather icons, ... Just like other weather apps. Or a possibility to customize the widget you have now. I'm diver and the wind is not the only important thing I want to see in widget. Would be great! -
