RAIN FORECASTS

As you might be aware we are experiencing a severe drought in South Africa.
There was a forecast for good rains over the Eastern Cape for Tuesday/Wednesday this week and absolutely NOTHING fell in any of the areas!!
Usually Windy is so accurate.. any idea what went wrong with the algorithm?

@Jonno53 Windy doesn't own any of the weather models we use. Any every model makes mistakes sometimes, even the ECMWF. It is good practice to look at some other weather models for comparison.

It's a pity because Windy has proved to be pretty accurate in the past.
Yr.no must be using the same because their rain forecasts have also become totally useless and a total waste of time... 😑

@Jonno53 Outside of Norway, Yr.no uses the ECMWF model exclusively. If you look closely, you can see that the forecasts from Yr.no and the ECMWF model on Windy are the exact same forecast.
