<![CDATA[What does the precipitation scale mean: inches/hr inches/day or what?]]>When looking at the category "Rain, thunder" there is a scale in the bottom right corner that can be toggled between in and mm. What does this scale mean in terms of precipitation rate. For example does it mean inches (or millimeters) of liquid precipitation rate of inches/hour, inches/3-hours, inches/day?

"Rain, thunder" layer corresponds to rain/snow accumulation in the last 3 hours, combined with lightning density forecast. So "in" or "mm" / last 3 hours.
