Accumulated rain legend goes from 1.5 inches to 3ft. Is that real?

Why are you surprised ? Because of the « 3ft » ?
That’s possible to get 3ft of rain in 10 days. See this dramatic flooding 2 weeks ago in Queensland. (Rainfall are in metric in this example. 1m=1000mm is about 3ft)
