Hello @rmoolman, thanks for your report, I can confirm this bug.

Problem:

1. Open Windy on any layer (other than Weather warnings) and then choose the 'Currents' layer. Nothing happens, the map stays opened on the previous layer.
2. Open Windy on 'Weather warnings', then choose the 'Currents' layer. The map stays completely grey:
