I have read a few questions re switching to global view but can't find the format in the latest version.
Any help appreciated if its still available.

If you mean 3D view, this option has not been available since last october.

@idefix37 from the link replies seems a lot of folks want it...perhaps someone can write a plug in? Not sure how this works....its not freeware is it?
